NASPO Acquisition Support Services Category Re-Award - Did You Know?

SPEAKER_00:

Hi, it's Dustin Lanier. Thanks for listening. Please find me on LinkedIn for original public sector operations content every week. And please reach out to me if I and my team of procurement professionals at Civic Initiatives can help you be a public procurement change agent. We posted about our re-award in the NASPO acquisition support services category last week. So let me context why that's important. Did you know that we've served 80 customers under that contract since 2019? So where does that number come from? It's a combination of our state-level master agreement adoption used by agencies, locals, and higher ed under that state contract, as well as direct participating addendums that may be signed by the entity themselves. So this contract category was originally awarded at the end of 2019. And as I said in the Back to the Future article a handful of weeks ago, This contract was a critical instrument that allowed us to serve customers in an uncertain environment and through some very turbulent times. So now here we are in 2024, and the recent re-award of this contract, i.e. last week, gives us options to continue to serve through 2030. We are absolutely planning to lean into this opportunity, along with our implementation partners that I posted about yesterday, Integra Supplied, which focuses on complex IT procurement, and Acuity LLP, which is one of the largest CPA and consulting firms in the state of Hawaii. Additionally, our exclusive benchmarking partner, the Hackett Group, was named and described in the response, and so these three entities were all presented to the evaluation team in the process of our re-award. In summary, this is a very important event for us to be able to have sustainability in our efforts and in support of the public procurement community. We are excited and thankful for this opportunity to continue to serve under the NASPO Value Point contract, and we are driven to continue to be the most widely adopted vendor in this category.
